We are looking for an IT Support Specialist with strong experience in supporting Mac for our client in Education in NYC. This position is 100% onsite with experience in working in education / in the school system highly preferred! This is a temporary position expected to last until June 2025 with extensions possible - open due to employee on leave* Please apply if you have 1-4 years of solid Mac support experience & you're comfortable working with kids and computers of all ages
Pay Rate: $30-35 per hour
Length: Until June 2025, with extensions possible
Hours: 8:30-4:30pm
Location: 100% Onsite Upper East Side, NYC
Project Details
- Main technical support for students and faculty; taking tickets, responding to emails and phone support
- Troubleshoot Mac devices (80% Mac environment), AV equipment, printers
Requirements
- 1-4 years of technical support experience
- Experience supporting Macs – some experience with JAMF is required
- Excellent customer support skills, must have go-getter attitude, willing to jump in and hit the ground running
Preferences
- Previous academic experience highly preferred
- Chromebook and iPad support

Desktop – 80% Macs, some Chromebook and iPads
Printers – mostly HP, cannon on copier side
Network – 90% Wi-Fi, 10% connected in – lots of Wi-Fi issues
